The winner was owned by Michael Tabor and Mrs Susan Magnier, bred in Ireland by the Irish National Stud, trained by Aidan O'Brien at Ballydoyle, and ridden by Christy Roche. The winner won by a length in 2 minutes 32.5 seconds, with a short head between second and third.
